As shown previously there are at least 10-12 other countries close by and propped up by the US (Afghanistan anyone?) worse as far as drug smuggling into the US.

Whether oil or drugs, or whatever the reason, I would assume it is somehow to the benefit of the U.S. whether the deal was done straight or crooked...guess it is all about business...
Maybe not for the benefit of the U.S.? Could it be a violent video produced for the benefit of someone to distract from this business:

Personally I'm not going to miss those 11 and I don't think the vast majority of the world will either with the exception of some with delicate sensibilities. I'm more likely to morn the idiots who poisoned themselves. BTW, bravo US Navy. Nice fireworks show.

At 72k deaths a year, that is 197 deaths A DAY...YES Navy, blow up that boat and Any other boats like it...Personally I'm not going to miss those 11 and I don't think the vast majority of the world will either with the exception of some with delicate sensibilities. Well with that line of thinking, we could reduce the USCG budget and just blow up any boat we think may be hauling drugs.
Trying to find total USCG interdictions per year but surely it’s in the many hundreds.
And really why stop there? Drug houses and land distribution, hell on I95 alone I’d bet we could save a lot of LE time in traffic stops by just dropping Hellfire’s on suspected northbound Escalades out of Miami.
