Sorry, I don't have any audio of how loud it is. I'm sure YouTube has at least 1 video, that will give you an example. It’s noticeably loud? Do you have an example you can share?

The 'quieter' camera uses different wavelength IR at night. So no red LED's are visible by a human on this camera. The downside is, if you use supplemental IR or have cameras in the same area, their IR won't be seen by the 'quieter' camera.Ok thanks for the info.
Is there any other noticeable difference between the 2 models besides the quieter motor?
What wavelength is the SD4A425DB-HNY-R? It looks like it just has a dark tint applied to it to make it "invisible" so I'm curious if it really is a different wavelength at all?The 'quieter' camera uses different wavelength IR at night. It says 'invisible' for IR on the camera specs. That would be 940nm versus 850nm normally used on almost all security/surveillance cameras. So it truely does have more than just a smoked cover as to detect 940nm IR you would need a different filter also. What wavelength is the SD4A425DB-HNY-R? You could be right, on this. But the specs for both cameras show an IR distance of 100m vs 50m for the invisible. According to AI that's about the max distance for 940nm IR. Who the fuck knows for sure. Even the official spec sheet from Dahua only says invisible for IR, with a max distance of 50m. We all know how accurate a Dahua spec sheet can be.I think "invisible IR' is marketing term not a technical one.
if it truly was 940nm it would say so in the specs I would think
