tioc 4mp pro maybe.Almost pulled the trigger on the IPC-T54PRO-ZE then came here to read the rviews and glad I havent pulled the trigger yet. I need something that will light up a bit when my daughter parks her car on the side of the house with not much light. Was really hoping this was it, hoping the firmware fixes it. Whats the alternative camera to this?
Hey guys
We have big progress on the firmware of the IPC-T54PRO-AS IPC-T54PRO-ZE. New fw's working is bit positive. @bigredfish @duplo @jmcu these 3 guys cost too much time for the testing, we appreciate!
Sure other guys who talk a lot here too to help on it, thanks a lot to them too!
The firmware Need more testing then we will invite more guys to test. I think @bigredfish will get us some of his testings soon. This version is the 1st version, the official one i think still have to wait to Jan.
Thanks!
Andy
email me a link please @EMPIRETECANDY- I got three of these things waiting patiently...

The FW I'm testing is NOT the same 2 week old fw from the Dahau site FYI
I know. I'm closely watching your progress though!![]()

Woeful lack of video from me, but here are some stills from various cameras looking at the same vehicle, identical time of day just simply different angles. Useful to compare with the 54ProZE (1028 firmware), overcast conditions, all 100%, no editing, vehicle moving around 32-35mph :
54ProZE (50% optical zoom - 1182) 16 feet...
4K-T 2.8mm 20 feet...
2MP Z12E (75% optical zoom - 980) 70 feet...
2MP Starlight (30% optical zoom - 460) 14 feet...

Small changes to sharpen and add some contrast.
This is a tough spot with shadows and widely changing light conditions from morning to sunset

Note these are a bit sharper than the old FW we were playing with that was softer
Also note that those streaks on the sides of the vehicles are reflections
*These are later in the day compared to the ones a couple of posts up.
I think the Defog hurts the image quality.

Thanks buddy, aha, looks bit better, never forgot the transparent man on the old fw,lolSo turning off AI-ISP does seem to allow normal control over most settings again!
My first try at night color settings.
*Please note this is the Z4 model and its 56ft to the capture point. Recall also I have a streetlight that runs on candles. Its not the ideal lighting condition.
Tonight I'll dial it in better and try B&W/IR as for most folks without a shit ton of light, you're still going to be more likely to run B&W/IR

If you recall the last set of tests with AI-ISP locked, people were fuzzy, see through and smeared, and it HATED black vehicles.
Progress
