Nothing wrong with a good IR image until the subject gets close enough to use the white LED's.
I think this will be the biggest problem folks come to ask about becasue they think they can run color at night without enough light.
In your second video running 1/30, its useless for ID until you are right on top of the camera and the white lights kick in.
Better to have a good IR image out on the sidewalk than a dark blob. Use the IR thats what its there for.
