What you do, I don't have time to do or can't do, and that's worth something.
Free Market, its Great.
Funny thing is....almost! It's friendly with BI6 (it was before, it was just labeled BI 5 in BIT) and WUnderground won't attempt to get weather without a key. I've made some various other changes and fixes as well, but I'm trying to get all the major stuff done ASAP then will push out smaller updates after. Is it done yet?
[ducks]
Seriously, big thanks for this!!!
Not sure which version this feature became available in BI but you can read up in BI's built-in "Help" on how to use OpenWeather. The lastest "Help" is online here and I have attached page 173 below.can I get weather in BIT without having a personal weather station? I tried to get a WU api key but after creating an account it says I need to buy and install a weather station to get a key to put into BIT... otherwise it always says "error connecting to wunderground..."
Thanks TonyR for all that info....Not sure which version this feature became available in BI but you can read up in BI's built-in "Help" on how to use OpenWeather. The lastest "Help" is online here and I have attached page 173 below.
The core functionality is to always keep BI open, even if as a service. It can still crash as a service, and if it does, BIT will open it back up.I've been using BI Tools for a few years and think it is great. Mike has done a wonderful job. However, with running BI as a Service and using BI's internal Weather service, I'm trying to figure out the benefits BI Tools, especially with BI 6. What features of BI Tools are people using that BI itself does not have?
