Exactly. The B54IR-Z4E S3 captured a lot more light, but I am being patient with this installation. I'm going to give it more time to see if I can make it look better. Weather hasn't been very accommodating the past few days. My sense is that something electronically, rather than optically is going on behind the scenes. I think something is going on internally with the processing of the B54PRO-Z4E to control the contrast and tonal range. For instance, when the fog came in, it is apparent that the camera was trying to compensate and started to alter the contrast and brighten the image. At times, the image looked the same as it would on the camera it replaced--the B54IR-Z4E S3 (the trees that are 224' away in the distance could easily be seen, as in the previous camera). As soon as the fog lifted, the image reverted to being darker and more contrasty.That cat is moving slow I know but still looking pretty good, wish people and cars moved that slow
Similar with my B54IR-Z4E S3, faster shutter and always brighter, source of great frustration at this point to be honest.
