Apart from the sharpness and the daylight Gain, those settings almost mirror the 4kt's I run. I can't remember daylight NR settings off the top though. That daylight shot looks a lot more like what I'd expect from a camera of this calibre. Be interesting to see what the night looks like.

Unfortunately as much as I want to like it I still see issues even with the new Firmware. With smart illumination "on", walking away (bearing in mind it's just jeans and a white shirt so not much to show up issues), the picture looks great until it turns to IR then ghosting occurs. I'm guessing...

In fairness they're not armed, only armed response officers are. That said, they do have pepper spray. For some strange reason, non of them appear to have tasers. All my local police have them. Could be a local force decision. Trouble with British Police is there more likely worried if they...

Crazy Shooting - Neighbors house hit

Surprised they can afford to live in your neighbourhood, houses look expensive & neighbourhood nice, unless they just travel there to be idiots in rich neighbourhoods. Either way, I'd be worried about catching a stray bullet in my front rooms. Only takes 1 idiot. Guess without major expense...

Crazy Shooting - Neighbors house hit

Unless they meant to get your house but simply misjudged with the adrenalin & picked the wrong one. I don't suppose spotting the cameras is easy at speed. It might be worth exploring some bullet proof glass for your front windows or bullet capturing film as the danger here is getting hit by...

WizColor 2.0 is coming (15 April)

I hadn't noticed it was the 54Pro. Might have been a bit gentler if I had, In fairness, it's the shutter & gain that are the issues there. You could reproduce that on any camera if you push the settings too far. All it shows is that it's not capable of running full colour successfully at that...

    My PC is dead

If it's Malware and if you still get hold of a copy of Malwarebytes Chamelon (was a free download - reputable sites only otherwise you could be adding further Malware), you could use that to boot the PC. It intercepts the boot and scans for Malware in items that load at boot, then on boot it...

WizColor 2.0 is coming (15 April)

Maybe the AI will just build a new sensor with larger pixels. Bit like those self healing paints. You scratch the surface and a week later it's healed. Maybe AI CCTV will soon be the same. The sensors not sensitive enough so a week later it's built the hubble telescope.

WizColor 2.0 is coming (15 April)

I agree. I could make my 4KT's look like noon on a suny day with 300 lumens of light if I wanted to. The trick would be to increase gain and slow shutter. I run 4ms or 1/250th at night on 300 lumens of light!!! I could easily slow the shutter to maybe 1/25 and increase gain to say 70 & get...

...and the penalties - a larger aperture generally = shallower DOF (not sure any detriment has been detected on here but then again tests were only intial ones, at least the ones I've seen), the tests on here do suggest AI is currently less than perfect at removing motion issues caused by too...

    CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency)

Yep in the UK virtually no physical banks outside of the main city centre branch. Govn ignores it & plays it down but it's obvious what is happening. EOM (End of Marketing and Sales) for 5442-S3 announced

I can't say there's much that interests me in the current CCTV camera lineups atm anyway. The 5442 was the one good go to. Until Manufacturers ditch AI or at least realise it's a tweaking tool & nothing more, then I don't see me buying any cameras in the near future, failure needs aside. The...

Is the regime in Iran soon to be toast?

Trump has miscalculated. He expected the regime to fold like the other countries he's attacked but failed to take into account he's dealing with fanatics.
