Fetterman says Democrats governed by Trump Derangement Syndrome

Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.), who has been known to buck his party in recent years, said in a Wednesday podcast episode that the Democrats are governed by Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS).

“Who do you think leads the Democratic Party today?” The “All-in” podcast’s David Friedberg asked Fetterman in an interview posted Wednesday.

“Oh, we don’t, we don’t have one. I think, I think the TDS that — I think that’s the leader right now. You know, right now our party, is, is governed by the TDS, and now it’s made it virtually impossible, without being punished, as a Democrat, to agree something’s good, or ‘I agree with the other side,’ and I would define that by [Operation] Epic Fury,” Fetterman responded.

“I am literally the only Democrat in America, in Congress, that I’ve come across that’s saying, ‘I think it’s a great thing to break and destroy the Iranian regime,’” he added.

Operation Epic Fury is the name of the current U.S. operation against Iran, which has received pushback from many Democrats. Fetterman has expressed his support for it.

Oh, things will change when someone of importance, like a relative of the mayor or his admin, gets hit by an e-bike driven on the sidewalk by a migrant delivery worker and receives a serious, life-altering spinal injury, brain bleed or the like. I don't wish for that but that's what it'll take to restore some sanity and resume the cancelled enforcement. :confused:

IMHO, Mr. Fetterman is wrong...

Lots of Democrats think it would be a great thing to break/remove/destroy the Iranian regime... probably more so than Republicans... and I'd say a majority of Iranian citizens would agree with that also.

If you think we should be involved, fine, but it's the poor planning and execution by the Trump administration that's the issue.

I've never been a Trump loyalist. I voted for him 3X but I left the Republican party in 2000. I'm a registered independent, NPA

I like him when he does good things and dislike when he does bad things... because he's a politician... not my friend.

So far, not a fan of the second term.

Super weird when people are like "you must be destroyed for disloyalty!"

Politicians owe loyalty to you. Not the other way around..

Well I still see a lot of censorship on various platforms, not as bad as it was recently.

Thankfully it is better, yet I do see the emerging threat of OS level age verification as the next hammer on us all for when we speak own minds
