Progressives WIPED OUT as GOP SURGES in Special Elections!!!

X ^ | 03/18/2026 | Dr Steve Turley

The YouTube video (from Dr. Steve Turley, uploaded around March 18, 2026) is titled "Woke Progressives WIPED OUT as GOP SURGES in Special Elections!!!". Brief summary:

It celebrates recent special election wins for Republicans and losses for progressive/left-leaning Democrats in states like Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Illinois. Key highlights include:

A strong GOP victory in Virginia's 98th House district (63% for the Republican candidate, significantly outperforming past margins).

Republican pickups in Pennsylvania state house races.

Defeats of progressive/ "woke" Democratic candidates in Illinois primaries (e.g., losses for figures tied to anti-ICE activism or endorsed by Rep. Ro Khanna, while Trump-endorsed candidates won).

The host argues this signals a broader structural collapse of the "woke left" due to: The populist right's appealing mix of economic populism (e.g., tariffs, infrastructure) and cultural conservatism (e.g., on immigration, gender issues). Woke policies alienating voters and uniting opposition. Demographic trends favoring conservatives (higher fertility rates, projected electoral shifts by 2030).

It frames these results as evidence of a lasting "red wave" and populist right dominance, with some criticism of GOP leadership for not engaging more aggressively (e.g., in Virginia's upcoming redistricting referendum). The video includes a sponsor segment for a kimchi supplement product. Overall tone is highly enthusiastic and pro-Trump/MAGA.

I'm not going to call out every mistruth X posts you post, there are an endless amount all day long here. I have only been calling out the first one or two I read. Your TDS has the best of you.

Provide solid proof. There is none. You can't. Fake news.

NO!!!

It's up to YOU to prove that it's wrong!!!!

That's the way it works now.

It should be a cake walk for the Dems, but they'll probably find a way to f it up :(

If Trump wins quickly, the Dems should lose midterms ( basing this on typical US Military actions and Elections )
If Trump's war extends too long and people see USA as losing, Dems should win the midterms. ( this is why there is so much anti-USA can win this war in the Dem controlled press )

That's kind of the crux of the problem with all of the crap social media posts being propagated. It's fast and easy for somebody to write fiction, then can take hours or more for someone to disprove it. Most or all of us have seen the videos of claimed protests about something, or bomb damage, only to find out later the video was from in the past often at a totally different location. How much work does it take to plow through hundreds or thousands of past videos to find the proof of deception? It's a lot easier to fling $hit around than to clean it up.

I would hope that anybody who spreads posts and articles around would first try to fact check it, or at least do a sanity check. If the contents of an article don't reflect its headline, it's prima facie junk and shouldn't be spread around for all the headline-only readers to suck up even more false information.

Or fake AI.

Buyer beware... take everything with a grain of salt these days... If I generally trust a source and I'm interested in following, I don't mind if some mistakes are made... mistakes eventually get corrected... can hardly blame someone for posting something that would take hours to disprove!
