Recent Examples
- Social Circle, GA: DHS bought a former Russian-owned warehouse; city officials say they were not consulted before purchase. The facility is expected to open mid-2026 Yahoo+1.
- Roxbury Township, NJ: DHS purchased a 470,000 sq. ft. warehouse in February 2026, but local officials say they were not contacted beforehand. The township opposes the site and may pursue legal action Yahoo+1.
