Putin is gonna try again to feed Trump what he wants to hear. Nothing worse than someone who is agreeable with you but doesn't follow through. Trump is gonna learn this about Putin again so he may as well start warming up his "severe consequences" because Putin ain't gonna do crap. Just let them slog it out for another year.

I'm going with 95% chance of failure. But it's not from a lack of trying. Probably what will happen is that Putin will lie about being agreeable to certain requests by Trump. Then Trump will announce that Ukraine will need to accept the terms. Ukraine will balk then Trump will figure out a way to punish Ukraine to get them to go along with it all at the same time Putin was never sincere about it anyway. There is high probability that Ukraine will get fucked because Trump wants to take credit for the agreement all the while trying to be on good terms with Russia so that they don't move closer to China.
