Having been the parent to only 1 child, now a 45 year old woman, by no means do I think I am an expert nor do I feel like I did everything right....we just did our best based on circumstances and what we knew at the time. I can relate, we have 2 daughters and I was overwhelmed with love for them when they were young, but when they started growing and didn't want to talk to me or even be seen with me it was painful. Those teenage years are a challenge to deal with. I am going thru it with my 17 year old daughter mostly, but my 13 year old certainly has her moments as well!
Let's look at it like this....the $30K fine on those bringing suit, the thief's family,could be seen as "reparations" payable to the defendant, the power company and/or the charging station owner.........
