But many here run the Z12E that is $250ish.
The downside is this is set up for you to manually read the plates when you need to read them or use a 3rd party application to read them.
Some here use OpenALPR at like $10ish per month to do the actually reading of the plates and then a program someone wrote here to database log them.
Some here use
Blue Iris as their VMS system and then use CodeProject ALPR or BI AI built-in to read and log plates and that is free.
