PTZ5A4M-25X IVS and Tracking ?

So it picks up the IVS trip but loses interest real quick?

You may play with Target Tracking size and back it off a bit. If it tries to zoom too much it can lose a target quickly becasue it can't ID it as a human any longer

Also On global sensitivity I have it set at 8

I will say if its picking up IVS trips well but losing target after it starts to track, and assuming its not an obstruction issue (which you could have there with the fence)
I see the same behavior.

Its something Dahua needs to look at and see if they can fix in FW. Its worse tyhan any other PTZ I've owned in that regard

Yeah it didnt zoom at all Actually it did a bit. Thats fine on Target Tracking

IVS tripped, it recorded.

Played it back on what? Show me. Thats an Intel (IVS) activation clearly.

You may not have settings correct to note it as such

On the IVS rule ON the CAMERA UI (not the NVR) you have to have Record enabled under Event Linkage

On the NVR you have to have IVS setup to record under Storage/Schedule- for the correct channel and all days

In SmartpSS you need to have ALL checked bottom left on playback

On NVR I had Intel and general. I added alarm. On Camera GUI I added on event linkage to send command. we will see in the morning what I have.

No need to add alarm on the NVR

You were missing the Record on Event Linkage on the camera. It should work now
