Well, everything works on the camera with the exception of the web page. In the words of Andy, It's bricked. I would need to do some type of flash on the unit to bring it back around. Being that my eyesight is not what it used to be, I don't think I am going to tackle flashing the camera myself. So, Andy is going to get another camera sale and this PTZ is going to go back into the box it came from originally. Really a shame. It was only installed for around 2 years and it really did work fine......right until it didn't.

Have you tried a different power source? Maybe the existing power is dirty or not providing enough for full capacity?

Any way to wedge something into the reset switch so it stays pushed in or a piece of something that would keep it pushed in when you put the cover on and just let it reset for like 5 minutes.

I finally gave up on it and ordered a new, better camera from Andy. I got another PTZ5A4M-25X-S2, which I have always liked better than The Dahua PTZ. It is now mounted and running just fine on it's mount. Don't know why i waited so long to replace the Dahua. I thought about replacing it earlier this year with another PTZ5A4M-25X-S2, as the PTZ5A4M-25X-S2 just has a much better picture. If someone was interested in flashing the Dahua, I would sell it cheap. Everything works on it, except I can't get into the cameras web page to reinitialize it. Somebody on here a few years ago wrote a lengthy document about serial flashing bricked cameras. So it looks like It can be done for very little money.
