Is the regime in Iran soon to be toast?

Opinion I happen to agree with
--------------

Iran has NO intention of winning militarily. None.

They figured out something far more dangerous:
– The US burns over a $1 BILLION every single day this war continues
– The stock market has lost Hundreds of $Billions since this started and its getting much worse
– Recession probability just spiked by 50% (by some measurements we're already there)
- Support for the "Not War" is low and going down from there

Iran is TAUNTING Trump to keep attacking. Not because they can win — because every day he does, America bleeds money and loses more support.

Think about that for a second. A country with a fraction of America's military budget found the one weakness no amount of firepower can fix:
The US economy can't afford an endless war.

And Iran knows it.

Makes sense ..

They watched the Houthis vs the USA and are basically using that play book it seems

Strait of Hormuz : You can destroy the Iranian Navy, the Iranian air force, and 95% of their drones .. and still what remains can be used to close of shipping as few will be willing to take the risk to run the straight

"Two weeks to stop the spread"....

Snake island Ukraine was captured by Russia and Ukraine bombarded it with artillery, Russia abandoned it. The Iranian Kharg Island is also at similar distance from mainland.

From wiki
On 27 June, Ukrainian officials released footage of Ukrainian forces conducting 10 precision strikes on the island. A second Pantsir-S1 was reportedly destroyed in the attack. The Russian MoD denied that their system was destroyed and instead claimed that their Pantsir system destroyed 12 rockets and a Ukrainian Su-25. Ukraine's southern command stated that there was an ongoing operation to recapture the island.

These regular attacks against the island and its resupply ships made the Russian position untenable. According to Ukrainian officials, the Russian Air Force attacked Ukrainian rocket and artillery positions in the Odesa Oblast with Su-35 fighters in order to reduce the intensity of the Ukrainian attacks on Snake Island. Three Kh-31D missiles were reportedly fired, but Ukrainians claimed no casualties or damages were reported. On 29 June, Ukrainian forces claimed to have destroyed one of four helicopters, possibly a Ka-52, that were approaching the island during a search and rescue operation.

On 30 June, Russian forces retreated in what has been described as a major Ukrainian victory

Ah, the gaslighting ..

Ukraine offers help ..

Bolton: Trump could declare victory over Iran and pull out at any moment — and that’s a problem. The public was never prepared for regime change.

Many leaders since the Cold War assumed history had ended, but the world is still dangerous and requires serious strategy.

1/
Bolton: Trump often looks for an off-ramp. My concern is he may damage Iran but stop before regime change happens.

That would leave the same regime in power — wounded and more desperate for revenge. If he wasn’t ready to finish it, he shouldn’t have started the war.

2/
Bolton: Iran's regime rules by repression despite deep public anger.

The economy is collapsing, most young people want a different future, and many ethnic groups oppose the government.

If the regime can’t defend itself after these attacks, its days may be numbered.

3/
Bolton: I would not have started war with Iran unless the goal was regime change and there was the resolve to see it through.

I would tell Trump to stay the course. Persistence and patience are needed.
