IPC-HFW5431EP-Z5 - Condensation circle inside lens

I think its confused because its trying to synch with the NVR and the camera is using PAL values and the NVR using NTSC values
Thats why you only see 25fps
I cant recall but either on the System or Information tab you should be able to set it to NTSC

Hit save/refresh on that tab a few times, it may even pay to reboot the NVR to get them in synch

Up the bitrate to at least 8192

Correct, dont make setting changes for the camera on the NVR. But you can go through the NVR to get to the camera by going to the camera registration page on the NVR and at bottom click the blue IE icon for that camera. Not necessary, just something to know. You must be using an external switch

Can still pull from quite an angle.
Need to dial in the night settings...but need more cars driving by haha...but I'm close.

Not quite getting the automatic day-night like I should be seeing.

Am I in the right modes? I don't quite understand normal vs day vs night. I thought when it went from "Day" to "Night", it'd go to my very dark night profile, but it went to the lighter "normal" profile which isn't what I want. I want the night profile at night.

Night -- these are the settings I want at night.

You will need to set up the schedule as it will not switch to day or night profiles within the camera.

On older cameras if you want it to positively switch to Night profile, you'll need to use the Schedule profile

Oh cripes that is lame.

I appreciate all the help so far.

I see now where I see people running scripts to work that out. I'm running a Hikvision NVR, not BI, so that's not in my future I don't think.

Just have to update the schedule now and then?

If your camera is on a switch and not the NVR and you run a computer 24/7, their is an utility a member wrote here to change this GUI profiles based on sunrise and sunset.

Oh sweet, I will look for that. I am connected to a switch, and do have a 24/7 PC.

Sweet, thanks for the link!

I'm not sure yet if I have any without lights...right now I have to manually click through PSS Lite and just look for a car.

I need to set up events/alerts or something but I haven't sat down yet to figure that part out.
