Ever wondered why countries within the EU advanced faster than the US?

Reason: Politics and inability to think for a collective cause
Building this bridge would have generated a lot of economic revenue, but politicians don't think the same
That and WE bear the burden of THEIR defense. If they PAID their own way, things would be different.
^^ Both are valid statements - why are we bearing the burden of their defense, also Europe is already toast - its quickly loosing its 3000 year+ history

Europe has not need for USA type of defense and spending, until Ukraine/Russia.
Who wants to interfere / disrupt anything in Europe, in regard to politics or land mass?
They are no World Police, like America is.
Their foreign policies end at their borders.
USA has interjected itself into foreign affairs due to the need/want of being #1 World Power. Someone had to take that mantle.

I would say they need US money for their defense. Most people I know don't want the US to be the world's policeman.
