This guy knows we don’t put up with mediocrity
Those back side of the moon photos are phony. I didn't see even one space alien base.

are these just going to be manufactured in Vietnam instead?
No still in China, the VN just assemble, all parts from China, and have to pay local customs and local VAT, so why not produce in China.

I would definitely hold off purchasing any new cameras until the 2028 the earliest. That's when it is speculated that prices will stabilize and come back to normal pricing. Why pay overinflated prices for something not really innovative when with patience you can get a quality product at the appropriate cost when it releases in a more stabilized market? For innovation you need access to quality high-tier hardware. If consumers can't afford it at this time, what makes you think companies like Dahua can unlock their true potential. ;)

You can buy overpriced Ubiquiti crap if that pleases you as Ubiquiti prices have always been skyrocket from Day 1 of release. @wittaj

If you are upset with the "crazy" price hike, you can still get a very similar camera with the Omnivision sensor 1/1.8" 4mp FIXED Lens Turret for $175 from Luminys and is NDAA compliant
Thus, if you need a few overview cameras 2.8mm focal length, this is a very relevant model and comes with a 7 year warranty, more than what anybody really needs

Good video to explain to newer users that

#1-3 are as they have been since the beginning of video and what many of us have preached for years

#4 is an attempt by AI to reduce noise and accentuate colors.

#5 isn’t directly mentioned as one of the 4 key “technologies, but is also something I and others have preached for a long time.
Common sense
Adding light (onboard LEDs in this case) makes everything better

He says it very clearly at the end of the video that its hard to see the details, and that only motion can be seen (cannot be deciphered), but lack of identification sucks severely; Ubiquiti, are you taking notes?
