Hello,
I'm currently looking for a couple of options to implement a video surveillance in our grocery store. Currently we use a very old BNC based camera system which broke and needs to be replaced.
I had requested an offer for a couple of HDBW5442EP-ZES3 at a camera shop because the Dahua 5442-Edition have a quite good reputation. I also own a similar model at my home that I connected with Frigate.
However, the camera shop pointed out that it is also possible to order the newer, slighty more expensive model HDBW5459E1PZHE-IL because it has some new features. I am a bit confused because the data sheets don't make clear what's new or what is better in this model.
Is there anyone who has experience and would it be a good idea to pay a bit more for the newer model or should I just stick with the 5442?
I also attached a picture of the site where I plan to install the cameras for reference.
I am grateful for every tip.
Regards,
