If I recall correctly, via the grayed out 'Auto-renew' button below.
For me, it became enabled when my support ended.

My neighbor does not have that option - when he clicks on the link to renew, it takes him to a web site that does not exist - errors out; host cannot be found

I did it through BI's "Settings" =>"About" page, went to Updates, set up a "Link" account using my Visa card.

The payment link changed as whoever the previous site was was withholding money, not too sure what the new payment link is but if you search I recall there being a thread about payment/renewal being broken.

As I routinely do, I performed a database compact before installing. My success may be a coincidence.

I just edited the reply. You might try a DB compact before trying again.
