Annke Firmware to Hikvision Firmware: HOW TO

N98PBK still has the same board for DS-7608NI-Q1/8P(D), but upgrade to hikvision firmware is currently impossible, information in xml files is different and update is rejected. As it stands we still didn't find a version of firmware that will allow to make it a pure hikvision NVR from annke one.
flash via Batch Configuration, you can’t flash via the web interface.

I'm thinking of one thing you can try. Try uploading a different firmware, an older one with a similar version as you currently have.
In my case it looked like this:

V4.71.000 build 221027 (first firmware)
V4.71.205 build 230707 (update fw via nvr web administration)
V4.75.000 build 240308 (fw from support Annke. New Annke logo on startup nvr)
V4.83.006 build 240910 HiLook (first fw from HiLook nvr model update with nvr web administration. After update change hardware version from C-R-K21B2-00 to B-R-K21B2)
V4.83.006 build 240910 (fw from HiLook model)
V4.83.015 build 250212 (fw from HIK model. Update with HiTools Delivery app)
V4.83.100 build 250626 (fw from HIK model newest. Update with HiTools Delivery app)

V4.83.015 build 250212 and V4.83.100 build 250626 were also from hilook, hik firmware didn't work for us then.

Hi,

I have a C1200 (I91DN) flased from: 5.7.1_250515 (annke) -> 5.8.5_250714 (hikvision) for DS-2CD1363G2.

I want to rollback to annke firmware but:
  • webflash is broken in hikvision version, "file button" doesn't make nothing.
  • iVMS-4200 can't flash
  • manual ISAPI flasing says: "Upgrade failed. The upgrade file firmware version is too low"

Bash:
curl -k --request PUT --data-binary "@digicap.dav" http://admin:[email protected]/ISAPI/System/updateFirmware

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<ResponseStatus version="2.0" xmlns="http://www.hikvision.com/ver20/XMLSchema">
<requestURL></requestURL>
<statusCode>4</statusCode>
<statusString>Invalid Operation</statusString>
<subStatusCode>lowUpgradeVersion</subStatusCode>
<description>Upgrade failed. The upgrade file firmware version is too low. UniNetIF_firm_upgrade failed, ret[-48], Upgrade failed. The upgrade file firmware version is too low..</description>
</ResponseStatus>

How can i rollback to annke firmware? Thanks for your support!

Annke C1200 datasheet has 12MP (4096*3072) but hikvision camera "alternative" (5.8.5_250714 (hikvision) for DS-2CD1363G2) has 6MP and the firmware max resolution is 3840x2160... so C1200 has a real 12MP sensor? because I don't see many differences in image quality between the Hikvision firmware (limited 3840x2160) and the original Annke firmware (4096x3072) and according to the datasheet there should be some but I'm not a video expert.

I've been looking for a 12MP Hikvision camera to find a more compatible firmware for the Annke C1200 and I haven't found it, and it seems strange to me that Annke has a better camera than Hikvision.

why did you decide that this is an analogue of 1363, who told you this, Annke has 12 mp

Because it was the camera that shared the same platform as Hikvision (G6) with the latest firmware available for download. There were other G6 cameras with 8MP instead of 6MP, but the firmware was older (Firmware_V5.8.4_241213), so I went with the latest one.

It doesn't seem to have been a good choice.

My options are either to wait for Hikvision to release a G6 model with 12MP, or to update via TFTP. In your comment, @PHILka.RU, you mentioned "TFTP + UART". Is UART also necessary? or is plan B after a "failed TFTP" Where can I find more information on this procedure?

Thanks for your help.

why not DS-2CD1383G2-LIUF/SL

it looks more like 1363, I have DS-2CD1383G2-LIUF/SL from annke's picture I like it better
