2026 New Release from EmpireTech

This one is VERY interesting….
If I make enough in my fun money market picks today… I will give Andy some of my money

Welp Andy will have to wait another day.
Mr Market was not cooperative today. Made a whopping $110

I would be interested in the 8-80MM lens super Bullet @EMPIRETECANDY Can I get one for testing?
Can it fit PFA12x junction box?

The camera itself already have a build in junction box, so don't need any external junction box.
I don't want to touch the existing junction box that is already mounted - is this camera transferable to the PFA12x series box?

Probably not. While no drawings are available in Andy's link, I would be bet the junction box diameter is larger to help keep the camera more stable to prevent imaging shakiness at long focal lengths

Dahua released new -LE "subversion" of 5459-PRO and 5459-IL lines...

those have 2x less RAM memory and 8x less flash..

there is special much smaller firmware for it and it have only basic IVS + AcuPick (probably in 1.0 version).. No Video Meta Data, no animal support, no auto learning..

more or less this is cut version of 5-series lite to level of 3-series cam..

I can’t keep up with the new models , guess I missed the “PV-PRO-ATC” designation ?

I’m sure the new line is quite “bright”

ATC is AnTi Corrosion - normal version
With better anti corrosion paint job

The new -LE version
Is answer for RAM & SSD memory low availability/ high price
I heard that Pot metal and ATC never work in the same sentence

Looking more closely at this….

- It’s the same price as the two cameras purchased separately 54IR fixed + Z4 but takes less? space and runs on one cable.

- But this may be a deal breaker
Intelligent functions cannot be enabled both on Channel 1 and Channel 2 at the same time.”

-
Because you're restricted to the same aiming point (no independent left/right flexibility) buying the two individual cameras allows far greater flexibility of aiming

So while it seems like a great idea, there doesn't seem to be ANY substantial benefit over buying the separate cameras (54IR and Z4)

Release a new 180 Degree with IR and LED optional model.

Has anyone tested this camera? The 180 degrees camera fits a spot for me.

I have been playing around with this for a while, the smaller CMOS as with all small sensors is not the greatest with no light and the LED's only works close up.
Overall, the IR is a great addition to the 180 with a decent image, add some anbient light and it works very well.

This color one wouldn't allow for thumbnail for some reason..

A 180 version of the T54IR would be nice indeed. But for now it looks like if you want 180 you either go with smaller sensor with IR, or big(ger) sensor without IR.
