That's unfortunate, I thought the 180 camera's were quite popular and an IR version would be very welcome.
Now you've piqued my interest.
I have 3 older hik 180's that I would love to replace with IR/White light 180 variants. Would be an immediate sale for me
I'm pretty sure a 2x 4mp 1/1.2" IR/White Light 180 camera would sell well, especially if it had good IVS. I'm in a more rural area, so the IR does a lot better than color at night.
I also have a customer that I sold on 3.6mm single cameras rather than 180s because he was going to be dependent on human and vehicle detection. I know the 180s have issues, so I have held off on selling them. I don't even own one to test yet, partly because of the IVS issue, and partly because I don't have a lot of white light around my shop.

Old technology, too much problems & limitations..
Andy please ask Dahua about new WizColor 180 camera? Both in 3 and 5 series?
I think many people were very interesting in good 180 cam with WizColor tech & hybrid LEDs without many problems&limitations of old series..
For me on Color4K-180 IVS never worked as it should. And I have this cam on many sites in different scenarios.
Color4K-180 is first cam on those sites which I want to change to new tech like WizColor.
Yes, i asked, They don't have plan on the 180 degrees cams this year, will see next year.
@EMPIRETECANDY For Europe: Don't forget to also include black colored products...... Many houses & buildings around here are darker colored.
Even if a dual IR/White camera never came around, I'd take a 180 cam that had the internals of two T54IR-AS-S3 1/1.8 4MP cameras. Until then I supppse I am just stuck with putting two cameras up.

Agreed, but I'd still rather buy black. Others may do better, but my spray jobs don't come close to the durability of the factory black. And it is a bit of work to mask off the round face in a turret and get the cable painted.
Sorry bro, The UPS is going crazy, i also have 2 boxes show up after 3 weeks tranvelling across US.
