Mini-Review EmpireTech IPC-Color4M-T

Is the sensor onboard, Sony, Omnivision, or a no-name brand?

I told you it was a winner!

It is my new favorite fixed lens camera.

From the two-way audio to be able to send out an audible alarm, to the better imaging, and the dual light option, it is hard to beat.
How does this fixed lens version stack up against the -TZ (Varifocal) Color4M model?

What confuses me is the TZ (varifocal version) of this model. It has a fixed Iris control as per the specifications. How does the varifocal compare versus this fixed model? @wittaj

What firmware are people running on these?
3.140.0000000.29.R.260529 seems to be the latest

I updated from version: 3.140.0000000.3.R (build date: 2024-09-05) to version: 3.140.0000000.33.R (build date: 2026-07-31).
Now the camera no longer records using Samba version 3 as it did before, It only wants to use the insecure Samba version 1. Is this not a back door?

Camera on IP 192.168.1.2 is the new updated firmware version (3.140.0000000.33.R).
