Haven't really figured out night color on this camera. installed them on a full mooned night and it was great. had some overcast and a crescent a week later and couldn't see anything.

Can someone share list of all sported resolutions form main stream ?. Not only max resolution as it is in specs.

What did you gain & lose from swapping to hik firmware. My understanding once swapped there is no reverting back correct. Or no way easy to do it.4096*1860

Where did you download the firmware from? When using your link to hikvision I don't see a firmware download link on that page. Also on the firmware pages I dont see them listing DS-2CD1T83G2P-LIUF . Thanks

Thanks for the quick response!
I'm not able to upgrade mine, when I click on the folder icon through the camera web interface, no file windows pop up. Tried both Chrome and Edge browsers.
Tried guarding vision SW and it says Not Upgradeable under the Firmware Upgrade section of the tool.
Its also odd that under the motion events, I only see basic event, no option to set human/vehicle
Even the Annke app looks different from what youtube video shows for configuring the camera, spooky!
EDIT: Solved it, I had to install their shady plugin and load Edge into IE compat mode. Below pic changes after app is installed to show more options. Weird.

Sorta disappointed in this camera, it lacks IVS and region crossing support. For a smart camera its pretty dumb, I havent found the FTP part of the config menu, maybe it doesnt exist. Its a fine camera for blue Iris if you just need the onvif stream and doing your own image processing. I prefer the higher end hikvision cameras for $180 that have the 1.8 sensor size and more smart motion sensing options.

Pretty funny. Both are there. I'm guessing that your disappointment is misdirected. Have you tried a mirror?

It definitely could be user error, as I've never used an annke brand camera before. Can you show me where the ivs line crossing option is?
