This is just outside the range of Russian weapons such as P-800 oniks supersonic Anti-Ship missile which has a 800km range. So USS strike group is just outside the publicly advertised range, since true range will be classified.
Also the Iranian USV won't have that much battery range.

I like Victor Davis Hanson, overall a good writeup, yet there are a few items in his write up which I have issues with.
