Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

I just installed my Color4M-T yesterday replacing one of my 4K T cams just as a test. I saved an image from both cameras with similiar settings to compare. I think this is a good example showing the softness issue people have complained about with the 4K T cams.

I can't figure out if this suit is to stop selling the cameras, or to put a warning label on them that they cause cancer or whatever.

"The 33-page lawsuit, filed by Nebraska Attorney General Mike Hilgers in Lancaster County District Court on Dec. 22, accuses Resideo Technologies Inc. and its wholesale distributor, ADI Global Distribution, of engaging in “deceptive and unfair business practices” over the sale of cameras made by Chinese surveillance equipment makers Hikvision and Zhejiang Dahua Technology."

"Hilgers said the lawsuit was not intended to stop people from buying from ADI, but rather to allow consumers to make their purchases based on “accurate and truthful information” from the company."

In fairness, comparing 4K to 4MB will most always show that

I like the Color4M-T for the front door. This morning in the dark, as the mail carrier delivered a package, the smart illumination worked great.

Go full screen on it. Full size. ( Just100% not over-zoomed)

The person looks like a blotchy watercolor painting.
Comes from lowering sharpness and increasing NR so much to get rid of the digital noise created by the sensor

Same issue as the 5450 PRO

It can be mitigated by adding a little motion white light. The fixed AS is better than the ZE in low light.

I actually don't think the captures are all that bad, especially if only using the onboard lighting. I'm not a fan of the "warm" lights on the Color4M-T. Even at 100% the usefullness is mediocre at best. I ended up putting my 4K T cam back and will most likely use my Color4M-T inside my machine shop in IR mode.

No not bad, a little extra light would go a long way in helping, the onboard LEDs aren’t very powerful.. And yes it does a good job in IR

It is a bit stronger with 4 LEDs vs 2 and its in an even tighter space with light bouncing off stuff

PLUS you're seeing IR from another camera on the porch edge pointing out towards the dock

I should have let the 3449 have a few more seconds. It had just switched back to IR and you can see it brightening as I approach
