New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Can someone pinpoint for me the last firmware that allows the two-way communication to work. I have seen people say it works, but I cannot get it to work. I went back a forth with Support a little and they suggested a firmware broke the feature, but didn't know which one.

I have been trying to use two-way with the app and I can hear the camera's audio, but no talking back through the camera.

I thought you forfeit the ability to use two way comms with these doorbell cams on Blue Iris? Either way these are garbage cameras and Unify makes a way better POE doorbell cam. The 2/3 Reolink doorbells I had all failed within a year and they were all installed properly

I assumed he meant the Reolink app, I never had the 2 way audio working working in Blue Iris myself. I have 2 of them and both have been working flawlessly for quite a while now. If they made a G6 doorbell I’d probably switch but these Reolink ones definitely beat the G4 for image quality.

@MTL4 Definitely meant the blueiris app. The cam is blocked from the internet so I figure the Reolink app wouldn't work.

@flynreelow Mind sharing the audio settings for the camera in BI so I can mimic and get this thing running?

I just saw a post on the reolink forum that 2-way worked with firmware 3.0.0.1859_23030902 in Scrypted :puke: via onvif. Iam on v3.0.0.3308_2407315183 right now.

I only block my banned Chinese (Dahua, Hikvision, Lorex, etc) cams from the internet so the Reolink app works fine.

Isn't Reolink a Chinese company making their cameras in China?

The NDAA ban prohibits surveillance and telecommunications equipment from Chinese manufacturers, including Hikvision, Dahua Technology, Huawei Technologies, ZTE Corporation, and Hytera Communications, and their affiliates or original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
The key is whether they are NDAA compliant and Reolink is so they are safe to use and allow access but several including Dahua and Hikvision are not.

I just like that you don't have to create an account to set up the cameras or use them, and they don't need an internet connection either (although maybe they did for initial setup?)
