Reolink Track Mix Junction Box

Hi All,

I purchased a POE Reolink Track Mix. Unfortunately, Reolink does not currently make a juction box that will match the screw configuaration. I need some advice.

Is that a compatiable junction box that will work for this camera. If so is there some advice on how to make it work?

Any help will be appreciated.

Specs say it's under 3 pounds.

That's a pretty oddball flange on that cam, I'd look at some Carlon or Cantex 4" PVC boxes at Lowe's or HD, box + lid is about $15. Toss the plated screws and buy some stainless steel.


The mounting flange (below) appears to be about 2.25" wide

Use a 1/2" or 3/4" cable gland, chosen with an ID that's a snug fit to the CAT cable's outer jacket. If necessaarry you can add a few turns of 3m's #66 electrical tape to increase the diameter to make it snug.

The gland or any fitting should be on the bottom of the box to discourage water intrusion. Be sure to waterproof as here and use dielectric grease.
