Hi,

I have about 10 IP cameras running on BI now, including one with hikvision. Today I added Hikvision DS-2CD2032F-I to my network. I manage to stream using VLC from the BI computer without trouble through any of the following paths:
rtsp://username:p[email protected]/
rtsp://username:p[email protected]:554/
even with any path addition added at the end

For the past 10 cameras, transplanting this to BI works immediately, but it does not work for this camera.
I have looked at ispy database site, tried them all pretty much, upgraded my camera firmware and still have nothing.

In BI, if i use rtsp,
rtsp.png
likewise if I use the rtsp address discovered by the find/inspect button: 192.168.1.210/Streaming/Channels/101
or even using HTTP
http find inspect.png
I get a no signal message on the screen. BUT interestingly, a bit rate of about 500 kB/s.

I am on 4.5.7.0. Has anyone figured out a working address port path combination for this camera? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If using hikvision 2cd-xxxx or hikvision rtsp from the dropdown does not work, then confirm your camera settings..make sure its not set to h.264+

Tried the preset 2cd-xxxx and hikvision rtsp , but no luck
Camera setting is h264, and SVC is already off

Tried deleting the camera, reseting the camera hardware, adding it back on BI, disabling firewall ... and still nothing :(

disable any firewalls and test...also make sure you have installed all windows updates.

I have already disabled the firewall and windows is up to date.
Is there a way to see a detail log on BI's attempt to connect to the camera? I am really curious because VLC on the same machine manage to stream it and the codec info shows that it is H264...

Update: It works after I did a fresh install of Windows 10. Didn't change a setting on BI or the camera, I guessed it was a borked Windows installation. Thanks for all the help!
