Just paid $2.31 at the pump this week. Groceries are not down or up where we live, pretty much the same as it has been these last couple of years. Restaurants have raised their prices, but hard to put a finger on it since we saw this happening last year too. Depending on which restaurant, how long they held out hoping grocery prices would go down, guessing, but one owner did tell us this. We have plenty of restaurants still with low pricing though. Mainly lunch specials...
The restaurants with buffets have definitely went up since we moved here 2 years ago. About a couple of dollars more for a buffet.

But it's still Trump's fault that the June 2024 prices have not gone down. He had an entire 10 months to fix a four+ year issue. Bad, bad orange man!

As far as goods are concerned, I just reordered some Jeans that I ordered a year and half ago for $10 less than they were then, not on sale...these Wranglers I have been buying for a decade or more...$20 work jeans...Walmart, they beat Amazon on jeans...
We buy most of our stuff on Amazon though, it is very convenient for us out in the country. Many things we rebuy so I know what we paid 6 months to a year ago. Zero pricing has changed. This our dog's medicines, septic tank tabs, pools chemicals (actually went down some), certain food items, etc. Been watching TVs for about a year or more, looking to possibly get one. No price changes there either.
Since I don't have Health Ins., presently, can't speak for it, my wife, yes went up, but looking at previous years it is not out of the norm for Medicare to increase. I will say one thing, SS Benefits are increasing which is normally stated due to Inflation, which I don't know, maybe it is up or down, hard to know which numbers are correct there.
In Texas, our Property Taxes have gone way down and two more Propositions passed Nov. 4th so next year it will go down even more, possibly no more paying for School taxes for Seniors too...that is a Big win for us...
I cannot speak for others, only ourselves, no price decreasing seen, or very little other than what is mentioned above, oh our vehicle Ins. went down $100 a year, got a new truck too last year...
Oh speaking of truck, same year/make/model is up $3000 more from when I bought it last year but I bought it at the end of the month, best time to buy a vehicle, I saved $2000 more back then, one day left to the end of month, Dealership needed to make their sales quota...
We are not looking for prices to decrease, rarely do they once they get up to a point so we are pretty much stuck with that point, IMO. Also, not looking for any handouts/$ from our Gov't, even though politicians like to promise things. We are not Democrats, did not vote for Trump to get handouts. I know many would love to see Trump perform a miracle and everything go back prior to the Plandemic, just ain't going to happen, again IMO

UPDATE: Wife did just inform me that meat prices have increased but could not give me a time line nor a percentage. She is right, I have noticed that, forgot to mention, just not sure if is just the local market/area here though. Many factors play on meat pricing...

Seriously... I don't give a fuck what people "think" in this case. If groceries are more expensive, it can be shown by comparing prices... that would be known as a "fact." Asking someone's opinion of a "fact" is utterly ridiculous.
I just read how the 'Demoncratic' party is now 'EMBOLDENED' from the blue sputter, so they signaled they would not even think about voting today. I really, really do not like Demoncrats. Really, really. despise them. And liberals? Ha. Don't even have to waste the 0's and 1's on that answer.
As for President Trump. I have stated here many times, I personally DO NOT like the man, I can't even stand to listen to him talk. Never have, never will. But I DAMN WELL LOVE HIS POLICIES, or at least most of them. Now I love my country, does that make me a MAGA person? IDK, and I don't really care.
But I know this: ANYTHING HE DOES IS BETTER FOR THE COUNTRY vs. what Joe Biden and Obummer did when in office. THEY ARE THE REASON why we are turning into a LGBQT 3RD WORLD COUNTRY SHIT HOLE! They started the avalanche, and IMO, President Trump is trying all he can to put the train back on the track. I might not agree with everything he does, and I CERTAINLY can't stand a lot of his childish tweets, etc., but he is trying. Rome was burning...burning the fuk down when he was re-elected. So I am MORE THEN WILLING to give him another 3 years to right the wrongs.
I am not a 'TRUMP BOY', NEVER HAVE BEEN, nor will I ever be. But I do know he is trying...and its one hell of a up hill battle to do so. How far will he get? Who knows....but God Bless him for trying. And yes, he will continue to make some mistakes. Damn him for trying.

You summed this up perfectly for me as well. I don't like Trump, but I love MOST of his policies and where he is trying to steer this ship.
