US Elections (& Politics) :)

You know darn well that is not the freeloaders I am referring to...nor is anyone else...sadly those leeches I am referring to is ruining it for those who truly need assistance...

The family member I mentioned is a prefect example, she has no handicap, is not disabled, no physical issues, mental, well that is another story, mentally lazy...she is Very capable of working, has a spotted working history because she knows if she quits or gets fired and has little to no income she can get free handouts from our Gov't. She choses to live in a broken down trailer...Sadly, white trash is the term used for her.

Let me share this, which is quite the story. The property she is living on once had a house that shared a sewer system with another property. When the house was moved the other property capped it off when they found out she, in her trailer, was tapped into it.
So what did she do, haha, she went out and dug her a hole, threw some rocks in it and created her own sewer system...I am not making this up...of course this is a rural area...oh, she can work, a shovel just fine, lol

These programs should be to help Up, not a help Down...and stay down...

True of ever single government assistance program since the beginning of time.
There will always be a percentage of abuse or those who for good reason “game” the system.

I’m simply saying the blanket black and white “fuck em those are my tax dollars, cut em off” statements show a lack of education and compassion to those who truly need the safety net. It’s a lazy attitude.

“ But for the grace of God there go I..”

All I know is that I am traveling from Houston to Myrtle Beach in my motorcoach along the same route that I did back in June and buying diesel at the same stations and the cost is twenty cents a gallon more now than it was in June.
This paints the picture much more than my small 100 mile bubble we live in, saving a few cents here and there...I am ignorant to what people are paying in the rest of the country, though we did travel to Kentucky/Ohio recently/last month to see The Ark and prices there were not crazy...crazy meaning over $3 a gallon. Texas has always had pretty good gas prices...if you shop for them...

I even saw diesel below $3 at one station not too long ago, well $2.99, and no it was not an abandon gas station :)

Think your current FBLie is different than the previous FBLie? LOL  :winktongue:

This story was broke by a reporter who they arrested and intimidated 4 years ago. The FBLie under grifter Kash is no different than the former FBLie under grifter Wray.

America is waking up today to learn that Capitol Police turned CIA orchestrated the pipe bombs on January 6th, and the FBI has covered it up for over fours years. I questioned FBI Dir. Wray, ATF Dir. Dettlebach, and FBI asst Dir. (over DC) D’Antuono under oath. All played dumb.

They're STILL covering it up

I like the fact that this is now on record, you know this would never of been exposed during the last Admin. who, IMO, was the ones who orchestrated this.

:), you are talking to a Christian, you know, the group of people that gives 3 times more than any other group to charities...

I think we are in the same book, just different chapter...;)

This administration didn’t expose it.

A reporter who’s worked on it for 4 years did. He took it to them. Their reaction was “Oh shit it’s one of ours”

There’s a powerful psychological phenomenon at play that goes beyond simple political alignment. For many members of the MAGA movement, their loyalty to Donald Trump isn’t just about supporting a politician; it's about belonging to a community and a shared identity. When a person's sense of self-worth becomes deeply intertwined with a group and its leader, they will protect that connection at almost any cost. Facts that contradict the leader or the group's beliefs are not just intellectual disagreements; they are personal attacks that threaten their entire worldview. To accept a different reality would mean admitting that their core beliefs are wrong, which for many is a far more painful prospect than dismissing inconvenient truths.

This dynamic creates a feedback loop where loyalty reinforces itself. When a follower defends the leader against criticism, they are not only protecting the leader but also their own commitment to the cause. Every time they rationalize a controversial statement or dismiss a documented falsehood, they are doubling down on their allegiance. This process, often called "escalation of commitment," makes it progressively harder to pull away. It's much easier to stay in the group and believe the external world is hostile and deceptive than to face the cognitive dissonance of realizing you may have been wrong. The media, political opponents, and even basic institutions are framed as "enemies," which only strengthens the group's internal cohesion and a sense of shared persecution.

Last but most importantly, this loyalty-over-logic approach is less about policy and more about emotion. It's a response to a perceived threat to a way of life, a feeling of being forgotten or left behind. The leader becomes a symbol of strength and defiance, someone who "says what we're all thinking" and fights back against a system that has, in their view, failed them. In this environment, rational debate and fact-checking are seen as the tools of the enemy, designed to undermine their faith. The connection to the leader is personal and visceral, a bond forged in shared grievances and a common enemy. It’s a powerful emotional engine that can drive a movement forward, even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

Did you get this from ChatGPT, haha. The above is true, IMO, just look at North Korea...pretty sure Trump is quite the opposite there...Dictator? Probably in Trump's mind. Loyal followers, guess that is what people refer to MAGA as. Don't know, never wore a MAGA hat...but definitely voted for Trump. No regrets there...

But, yes, when I watched all those Trump rallies, Trump had a boner at every one of those. He loved being in the spotlight, once again, he always has. No change there. Anyone praising him is a wacko, IMO. Anyone supporting his (their) policies/beliefs is the group, if you call it that, I am part of. MAGA group? Don't remember signing a membership card there. Do I want America Great Again, of course...the Left is the one who demonized the name MAGA...

Maybe Tucker/Candace is doing a good thing, in a way, breaking up the MAGA loyalist...even though they are way off on their theology...

The problem with imperfect people, they follow imperfect people...

Agreed, yet I have never seen headlines until now admitting we were right...

@David L, I think @bigredfish is hurting. I do not know why but, I wish him
well and pray he gets over his hurt. Also there is no need to call me names
nor attempt to denigrate those with views contrary to those you publish.
