You realize there is no substitute plan currently being discussed.

The Republicans are using the “but illegals” on this because they know you’ll fall for it. They would have to repeal the 1986 law, which also effects millions of truly needy AMERICANS

Nuke the filibuster rule and live with what comes with it.

Lets hope that there are enough level headed people to understand that cutting off Food assistance AND healthcare for some 20-40 million people is NOT a good idea.

Thats not the country I grew up in. Some level of compassion is a hallmark of the America we knew

Reuters: “The court’s action, known as an administrative stay, gives a lower court additional time to consider the administration’s formal request to only partially fund the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, known as SNAP or food stamps, for November. Chief Justice John Roberts, who issued the stay, set it to expire in two days.”

1 in 8 Americans on food stamps. Sad. I wonder how many are on food stamps because they want to. There are a lot of them who have no compassion for those forced to pay for their gift. In fact I'm sure they are resentful. The only ones who deserve compassion are the ones who really need it. 1/4 of them? 1/2, 3/4...who knows.

All I know is that I am traveling from Houston to Myrtle Beach in my motorcoach along the same route that I did back in June and buying diesel at the same stations and the cost is twenty cents a gallon more now than it was in June.
