Yet another Rekor Scout price increase to $12 per camera

Started out paying $5/mo per camera, total bill $10

Then it became $6/mo, total $12

Then it became $10/mo. total $20

Now, price will be $12/mo per camera, totalling $24. Thats me out, just cancelled

I hope more people cancel to get the word through, what I assume though is that we may be a drop in the bucket and they don't care

I think that is exactly the correct answer: Rekor doesn't care. They do not perceive themselves as an LPR vendor anymore. They are now into "smart highways". Individual Scout users are probably insignificant to their revenue model.

I am sticking with them for no other reason than the lack of competition in the private LPR market, but I expect that will change in the next couple of years.

Its a shame, I've already had some interesting events that LPR would have helped with, but now no way to go back and search the last few weeks

What’s best connectivity option you would recommend? As you have been helping me a lot? Very grateful for it - the Dahua I setup I was thinking on the record or snapshot feature if I should just store it to a NAS or Cloud then use those pictures to push to Plate Recognizer
