A village has been evacuated amid a major incident at RAF Fairford, with residents being ordered to leave their homes as armed police and emergency services respond in the area.Police have been going door-to-door in Whelford, including around Horcott Road, while roads have been closed and a cordon established.

The operation follows the arrest of several men on suspicion of offences under the UK’s explosives legislation. The Army’s specialist Explosive Ordnance Disposal team is examining a number of vehicles, while residents are being taken to a nearby leisure centre.

Several ambulances, including HART vehicles, fire engines and specialist emergency-response units are also at the scene.Authorities say they believe the incident is contained and are working with partner agencies.

100% EU never wanted a war in Europe, Russia's Putin is the key actor.

EU even ignored Russia's 2014 attack on Ukraine, and was happy to let Russia ride on that victory.

Claiming EU wants a war is so absolutely incorrect and backwards, it reminds me of Trump claiming that the only reason Diesel is up in price is due to Ukrainian attacks on Russia.

Gez ... just follow the facts, EU was reluctant to even help Ukraine defend vs Russia. Was forced to actually get their own military production back into gear and spend money on it.

They werent broke before, they are now and out of gas.
