Why so many old updates?

Maybe I missed it.
What are all these updates daily and dated 2018?
 
Is this Blue Iris your are referring to if so what version are you currently running! Some details would be helpful so that we can answer your question, where are you seeing these updates, what are the file names etc.

Thanks for getting back.
Yes its Blue Iris.
What I was receiving were Bot updates daily through my email for 5 days.
These bots were saying updates available but dated 2018!
They have stopped now!
My version is 5.9.9.17 which I know is old but its stable.
I have had problems in the past with updates hence till I backup, I wont update.

I personally have never heard of or gotten notice via email, what email address was used to send the notices? Can you post the contents of one of the emails

Hi,
Enclosed is the first email and where the link took me.
So the first email received was Ver 5.9.9.85 and came in on 29/9/25.
The last email, Ver 5.9.9.90 came in yesterday 6/10/25.
Therefore the others came in between those dates.

Maybe I got the 2018 wrong now that I look at the sender.

The BI Update bot was non functional for quite some time, and was just recently repaired, there may have been some issues while the work was being done, If you are still getting them and don't want them there is a link at the bottom of the emails to disable them, I am guessing that you signed up for them at some point in time!

OK so now I know.
I didn't realise that it stopped working and now its back.
So all good.
