If I have already put the App on task bar, back before all these changes....Will it need to be reinstalled or?? will it auto update?
It should auto-update. If you see the Main-stream jump buttons setting in the settings panel with this description, you know you are running the current latest.
I just published another update which fixes an issue that could occur where the wrong frame metadata is shown (or no frame metadata is shown, which is how I noticed there was a problem) depending on which stream selector option you had chosen.
Then I found a reproduceable sequence of events that stalls the video player in one of my test clips. No idea why it stalls the way it does. Working on a fix for that now too. I'll update this post when that is done.

BTW, I got a message saying 'no video frames" when I tested exporting then viewing a very short clip. I guessing this may mean that the Blue Iris 'Convert/export' algorithm does not seek backwards to a key frame. The file was not zero-length and may have had only a header. So I think BVR-Player handled it ok.
The BVR Player can now export the metadata either as a simple text summary of a detailed interactive summary in HTML format. This is at the bottom of the Metadata panel and also is available if you try to open a bvr that has no video in it.
