Where have all the PTZ cameras gone?

I'm looking for another ptz but can't find anything in stock or available anymore except 8mp with 1/1.8 sensors or 1/2.8 sensors on the empire tech site or Amazon. I'm really interested in the SD6AL433XA-HNR but they are nowhere to be found. Autotracking, Long Range IR, and high focal length are what I need (with an acceptable MP to sensor size of course).

I'm guessing there is just a global shortage?

The SD6AL433XA-HNR is a fine camera, my favorite, but its no longer made.. Unfortunately Dahua is more interested in making toys with features that are mostly hype and no longer care about image quality.

Yeah, that's too bad. I just checked Andy's site again and one PTZ8X4M-42X-Laser 1/1.8” was available. It has been out of stock for weeks since I have been looking, so I pulled the trigger. It looks like it has everything I need except a built in mic, but I guess I can add a microseven mic it.
