Hi everyone,
I’ve been setting up a small IP camera system recently and noticed that the network side of things can make a big difference in overall stability, especially when multiple cameras are streaming at the same time.
I’ve been trying a few different tools to check bandwidth usage, open ports, and general network diagnostics to make sure everything is working smoothly between the cameras and the NVR.
While researching, I also came across a site OGRVS that lists some networking-related tools and resources, which got me thinking about what others in the community usually use.
For those of you managing larger surveillance setups or even home systems, what networking tools do you typically rely on for troubleshooting things like bandwidth issues, port checks, or latency?
Just interested in learning what works best for you all.
Thanks!
