Weird NVR behavior

Recently noticed random selections on the NVR viewing through HDMI on my LG monitor.

Most of the time, the monitor is off. Sometimes when I turn it on to view the cameras, a single camera will be displayed, not the camera overview screen. It happens very randomly. It may not happen for a week or two and then, turn it on and a single camera screen again.

I turned it on today and it was on the initial playback screen which requires a password to access.

Before we assume it's being hacked, it is not connected to the internet when the strange behavior happens. In fact, it is never connected to the net unless I access it via my laptop, then I physically connect the ethernet cable and disconnect it when I am finished accessing the NVR

I don't think I've logged into the actual NVR/machine GUI since....2017?

I use a browser on my lan to the NVR IP address.

That said, have you checked your Accounts to see if there is any you dont recognize?
Is it set to reboot say weekly?

No and no. I only use the NVR GUI to view cameras when I'm working in the office

Ok, I can't seem to locate scheduled reboot. Any ideas where it would be? I looked under settings, no joy

And there are the main administrative account and a general user account which has no permissions

Obviously, the admin account has all permissions

I'll have a look when I get a chance. The logs only show motion detection camera and time
