Web 5.0 IVS Global Config, worth doing?

Have any of you done this? Cliff notes on how to do it and if it helps anything related to IVS would be appreciated.

I start all my cameras without.

Most do just fine without it. I have had to do it with two of my cameras.

But some field of views require it.

My recommendation is if the IVS AI is working for you, leave it alone.

If you start getting triggers that are false, like a bird for a human more than once, then the global config should calibrate it out.

But some people also try to do too much with a field of view or the camera is too high and even then it will be problematic.

From what I've pieced together, I've concluded (without evidence), that the IVS config is for image compensation when the camera is looking down on its field of view, as opposed to looking mostly horizontal. Setting it up has never improved anything for me.

Yep. My two that I needed to do it for are installed higher than what we recommend.
