I get it though. I live among many older retired folks who only get their news of the outside world from 10-15 minutes of Fox News.
They're largely uninformed and uneducated about the world and simply vote for the guy who stands up and shouts some worn out old "Murica! phrase even while laughing at them and doing the exact opposite of what he said he'd do. They dont understand the issues well enough to even discuss the most basic points. Its just 'Murica, Vote Red Team" as their told to as if that is somehow righteous.
I get it, they need to cling to something from the past when America WAS great. Reality is too depressing for them in their twilight years so they choose fantasy over the real world and stick their heads in the sand. They're sad pathetic hollow shells of people
