Tell me why I should support Trump?
I don't support POLITICIANS. I support sound policy that puts American interests first. Trump is certainly not fulfilling that on many of the issues on which he campaigned. Neither did Biden, or Trump45, or Obama, or either Bush, or Clinton, or even Reagan in many respects. I don't personally know anyone who expected a perfect 100% "victory" on every single issue he was pushing, yet some seem to have that attitude.
Tell me why anyone would ignore the lies he tells daily?
As much as he claims not to be one, Trump is a politician. Most of his "lies" are nothing but boasting or him getting facts purely wrong. Everyone knew this 10 years ago. Maybe you're talking about the lie from term 45 where he said that he fed "a mile" of cheeseburgers to a sports team. Some crack journalist actually measured said cheeseburger and determined that there is no way Trump fed "a mile" of them to that sports team. That guy should get a Pulitzer Prize for that investigative journalism.
Hakeem Jeffries gets on tv every morning and lies his ass off. Oh wait-- he's another politician. Countless numbers of Congress-critters do the same from the Senate or House floor. I personally am not going to ignore lies, but I am also not going to fixate on them and lose my shit.Tell me what he’s done, not said, done to improve our country?
- He shut down the damned invasion at the border.
- He directed DHS to expel the invaders.
- He got the US OUT OF the stupid fucking Paris climate treaty.
- He got us OUT of the World Health Organization.
- He made it crystal clear to Europe that THEY need to pay for their own defense/NATO.
- He repealed many restrictive issues with bureaucratic bullshit red-tape at the EPA and many other agencies (such as the insane WOTUS rules)
- He has worked to eliminate DEI bullshit in federal agencies and fed-funded programs.
- He worked to end the insanity of men in women's sports and put schools on notice to TRULY enforce Title IX as intended.
- He pushed to end child mutilation funded via Federal programs.
That's not a bad list.
IMO, what he has failed at the most is...
- First and foremost: Trump has failed at reigning in federal spending-- This is the same criticism I had of Trump45. The recklessness here in this administration may push us to the brink of financial collapse-- and it's an existential threat to our country.
- a LOT more people should be in jail for high crimes at high levels across a variety of areas.
- Epstein is a horrible tragic joke any more and I believe we will NEVER know the details of it. ...and for everyone screaming "Pedo-Trump"-- I'd like to see the evidence of it to a degree that is irrefutable. If not, go watch "To Kill a Mockingbird"
- ??? -- his term is still less than half done.
