The suspect in the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting has been identified as 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen from Torrance, California.

He graduated from Cal Tech with an engineering degree in 2017 and earned a master's in computer science in 2025.

Allen is currently in custody, though authorities have not yet officially confirmed his name.

"TEACHER" is a stretch. It seems he worked as a tutor for a test-prep company to help students get passing scores on SAT ACT tests. He does NOT have a California Teacher Certification.

The “story” on not just social media but in most every “news” organization in the world this morning, is one of two things depending on which team you root for :

A) see, we need the new ballroom, SS is underfunded, leftists are our #1 enemy he was obviously radicalized by the NYT, we need to enact “severe measures” to prevent this kind of thing

B) we don’t know near enough yet but there are some odd things surrounding the security and response. It’s certainly convenient timing, Assuming it’s NOT psyop, at minimum it’s a Reichstag moment

All very predictable regardless of your ideology.

Probably gonna get the last laugh, probably has $200k in government student loans and is gonna get free room and board for 20 years to life. Another government product paid for by the taxpayer. Would not doubt he's also a DEI product who was given a piece of paper saying how smart he is but in the end his timing was off due to the Trump effect closing the door on DEI hiring.
