More than 1/4 into the 21st century it's complete BS to claim that certain groups of people cannot get a gubermint photo ID. These are the same people who peobably believe we still need fax machines.

The conundrum here is that politicians have created a situation where survivability of a lot of people depends upon continued high and excessive gubermints spending. If you slashed a lot of spending including the most wasteful spending then all of a sudden you have people with no source of sustainable income. Just think of how many people are dependent on the gubermint spending. This redistribution of wealth holds some people down yet lifts up many more.
