U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Professional Responsibility said in the report that two of its officers fired after another officer on the scene yelled “He’s got a gun” while restraining Pretti on the snowy street.

Fucking amateur hour.

So now, it is two officers that saw he was a threat.

DHS investigating whether Alex Pretti’s gun accidentally fired — and sparked deadly Minneapolis shooting: sources

The Department of Homeland Security is investigating whether an errant shot from Alex Pretti’s handgun — after it was taken off of him — caused Border Patrol agents to think they were being fired on, The Post has learned.

As a result of the accidental discharge, which happened while the gun was in a Border agent’s hand, other officers may have believed their lives were in danger — resulting in the split-second decision to open fire on Pretti, killing him, multiple sources familiar with the investigation said.

The explanation is a shift from initial claims by DHS officials, who at first said Pretti was brandishing the Sig Sauer P320 pistol, which he was legally allowed to carry.

“It was 100% an accidental discharge by the agent that relieved that person of their weapon. Because everyone’s guns were out, they think that there’s a shooting,” one source said.

Additional sources confirmed that this is the explanation for the shooting that DHS is investigating.

The Sig Sauer P320 has faced reports of “uncommanded discharges” due to external factors affecting the trigger, something the company has denied.

The handgun, which is used extensively by US civilians and law enforcement — including ICE, has no external safety lever.

Border Patrol officers in Minneapolis were wrestling Pretti to the ground in Minneapolis Saturday after he turned out for an impromptu anti-ICE protest.

Pretti put himself between the federal agents and a woman who was being pepper-sprayed, video from the scene shows. An analysis of the bystander footage indicates that one shot appeared to come from Pretti’s gun after a Border Agent grabbed it from his waistband and was walking away with it.

That shot resulted in other agents… to open fire about 10 times.

They were busy trying to arrect an illegal alien when Pretti stuck his nose into the arrest and put his hands on the agent(s). He should have stayed on the sidewalk and just looked on. He did not do that, and it cost him his life.
This is not how professionals should be acting. We've all lived long enough to know this. To say otherwise is dishonest to real law enforcement.

MINNESOTA EXPOSED: Billionaire under investigation for funding 'far-left network

The segment features Fox News Digital investigations editor Asra Nomani appearing on Varney & Co.. She discusses an alleged far-left activist network based in Minnesota, which she claims has escalated activities against the federal government. Key points from the discussion include: The network reportedly involves self-described socialist and Marxist-Leninist groups.

These groups allegedly provide guides for tracking, monitoring, and harassing federal agents. Organizations mentioned include the People's Forum, Party for Socialism and Liberation, and Breakthrough News. Funding is tied to American-born billionaire Neville Roy Singham, who now lives in Shanghai and is reportedly under investigation for alleged interference in U.S. domestic politics. The segment references escalation after a killing, coordination via Signal, and a tragic incident at a donut shop (possibly alluding to an event involving someone named Alex Pretti being put "in harm's way").

Officials have described aspects of this as resembling an "insurgency." Kash Patel is mentioned as announcing an investigation into the network.

so, here's a solid test @dartworth

Louis Rossmann has offered to assist NYC is cleaning up the garbage regulation which kill small and medium business in NYC.

I'd keep an eye out and see if Mamdani takes him up on his sincere offer .. if Mamdani fails to do this, I would wager Mamdani is not sincere

Have you not seen the video of BOTH of the dead people interfering with law enforcement?
That's not the issue. They were interfering. The issue is the penalty that was meted out.

They decided to engage in risky behavior. This potentially puts the agent and/or the person in a dangerous situation where additional bad decisions or mistakes can happen in a split second. I'm sure any insurance company would have canceled their policy had they had one and found out about the risky behavior. I don't think either of the deceased woke up that morning wanting to murder an ICE agent and vice versa regarding the agent's thoughts. I'm sure the agents would have preferred that no one interfered such that they would not feel compelled to shoot. The agents were there doing their lawful jobs. The deceased were out on their free time looking for trouble and they got some but could have easily avoided it. That part we call a bad decision and not a mistake and their decision was not a split second one. Too bad, so sad. FAFO

Well I guess if we can't agree on what the issue is, there's no discussion to be had.

What protest? He was no where near a protest. That is beside the point. HE HAD EVERY RIGHT TO CARRY A WEAPON. You don't get to use the 2A when it fits your narrative.

Holy fuck, I've seen it all now.
Under the law he was required to carry it lawfully. He didn’t have his permit or his ID. Then he decided to interfere with law enforcement.

He 100% deserved what he got.

Nick examines Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals to explain the tactical strategies the Left uses to gain political leverage and ultimately controlling the public narrative.

He references a book called Rules for Radicals .. and notes, can't give in to that.

The Rules
"Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have."
"Never go outside the experience of your people."
"Whenever possible go outside of the experience of the enemy."
"Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules."
"Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage."
"A good tactic is one your people enjoy."
"A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag."
"Keep the pressure on."
"The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself."
"The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition."
"If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside; this is based on the principle that every positive has its negative."
"The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative."
"Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it."
