According to the Secretary of Agriculture US beef herds are at their lowest levels in 75 years. And, there are only 4 major US beef processing plants two of which are owned by the Brazilians and process 85 percent of the beef. Argentine beef is a temporary solution until herd size is increased. Also being looked into are more regional beef processing startups.
I see that Argentina's election ended in results beyond the most promising forecast for the libertarian president perhaps in part due to Trump's relationship with their president. At a time when Brazil is embracing the Chinese this could be a countetweight for relations in South America.

Unusual Machines continued to rally after reports last week that the Donald Trump Jr.-linked firm is winning Pentagon contracts as it partners on a fleet of unmanned aircraft carriers with autonomous drones.
The announcement comes after President Donald Trump in June signed an executive order to bolster the drone industry in the U.S. Department of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth in July released a directive to "unleash U.S. military drone dominance." Under those efforts, the DOD altered Pentagon procurement tactics and rescinded "restrictive policies that hindered production and limited access" to drone tech.
Per the plan, Unusual Machines will build drone parts in the U.S. for Red Cat's vessels and other advanced drones that it plans to sell to the Pentagon. However, there have been questions about the quality of parts that Unusual Machines provides. Until recently, the company imported most of its parts from China, before starting to put its brand name on devices made by a manufacturer in Ohio, the NYT reported. As of October, Unusual Machines has about 50 employees, a quarter of which are involved at a small warehouse assembly line located in Orlando.
Unusual Machines has a connection to the Trump administration after bringing on the president's eldest son as an advisor in 2024. After Trump Jr. joined, Unusual Machines disclosed he owned 331,580 shares of company stock, which are worth about $4 million. Evans told the Financial Times that Trump Jr. has continued to invest in recent funding rounds.
New York-based investment bank, Dominari Securities, which was the lead advisor for Unusual Machines' IPO, recently brought on Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump as paid advisors. The Trump sons cumulatively own more than 3 million shares in Dominari, which are now worth more than $17 million.
