Charlie Kirk Was Killed Debating—But the Free Speech Fight Continues
Dad Saves America

Sep 12, 2025 #charliekirk #tpusa #freespeech
The assassination of Charlie Kirk is a tragedy and a warning. A young father was gunned down while working to repair the foundation of American civilization—free speech and civil debate. Charlie went into the lion’s den with courage and joy, introducing students to ideas that have been all but banished from college campuses. A fifth column has taken the lie that “speech is violence” and made it the central philosophy of higher education, and we fund it as taxpayers. If we are to honor Charlie Kirk’s legacy, we must figure out how to fix this once and for all. America depends on it

Hard to know where to start.

The gun they showed does not appear to be a Mauser 98
Then there’s taking a Mauser apart in a split second and fitting the disassembled stock and barrel into a backpack
Also about re-assembling the entire thing while on the roof to begin with, while holding zero ?

The whole clothes changing story that doesn’t match the pics or video..

Roommate said something about coordinating the weapon drop off, the information about the discord server, and was taking requests on the "inscriptions" …

Truly amazing. Even more so that the public seems oblivious or just doesn’t care

There’s a lot more but unconfirmed

:rolleyes::facepalm:

I’m still not sure he knows how this works.

He knows how it works... just not saying so... and Howard Lutnick knows too and he's looking to cash in :)

Lutnick Family Angling To Make Astronomical Sums Off Court Nixing Tariffs

"This is not new. But I at least hadn’t heard any of these dots connected. I wasn’t even aware of the dots. A friend mentioned to me over the weekend that he’d heard about Wall Streeters buying up the rights to tariff refunds from big corporate importers. So the idea is that a Wall Street firm goes to an importer and says, you’ve now paid $10 million in tariffs. I’ll pay you $2 million right now for the right to collect the refund if courts ever end up deciding the tariffs were illegal. My friend had also heard that one of the most aggressive buyers was Cantor Fitzgerald, the firm until recently headed by Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and now run by Lutnick’s sons. Twenty-something Brandon Lutnick, pictured above on the left in a 2016 photo, is the current chairman of Cantor Fitzgerald. (He must be hella talented!)

Damn, I thought: That’s a hot story, crooked as the day is long."

A Mauser 98 is a great design but I question why anyone would want to go through the trouble of converting it to 30-06. Seems like a good way to waste money. I would guess that when converted the stock was replaced possible with one that detached from the action quickly. When he jumped off the roof it wasn't clear to me that he had a long gun and I find it odd that after taking the shot he took the time to disassemble it but maybe it comes in two easily. After jumping off the roof and halfway to the road you can see him fooling around packing something. I assume he was trying to jam it into a bag. Also, I wonder if they found it disssembled. I have not read up on it nor have I seen the photos so don't know. I do own a Mauser (Turkish M38).

Of course. Political assassins always act alone!

Right?

And I’m not saying he wasn’t, I’m just reading their own, very limited, words and things ain’t matching up. Not even close. It’s fricken bizarre

Ya’ll really should go on X and see what a few million other people are saying, many wayyy smarter than me

Many mauser 98s were "sporterized" after ww1 and ww2 and 30-06 was a caliber that many Americans were familiar with due to its use in the war. Stocks were changed. The 30-06 is very close in specs to the 8mm that many mausers were originally chambered for so it wasn't a huge effort to convert. Some were even rebarreled in 12 ga shotguns. (I have one from ~1915). Mausers now especially sporterized ones are relatively cheap reliable guns to get and are not popular. But due to the design you are not breaking one down to stuff in a backpack, not without serious modifications.

Instead of writing a long boring diatribe extolling my own virtuous opinion of the uprising stemming from the Charlie Kirk killing that frankly isnt 100% developed and matters to nobody,
I would just say:

We need to turn down the rhetoric.
What I'm seeing on X, Faux News, and just about every single Conservative "media" channel, from otherwise seemingly sane individuals, leaves me shaking my head.
Conservatives and MAGA are acting/reacting exactly the way we've been saying Liberals do.
Jumping the shark, over the top, Zero to 200 with no setting in between.
I know its more fun to go along with the crowd and try to outdo each other with who can sound the most tough, righteous and pissed off, but seriously? We're supposed to be better

Is their for many a valid reason to be pissed off? Mad, frustrated and needing to vent?
Valid questions/problems with the Left and their contribution to the downfall of many of our core values and way of life? To pushback hard?
Valid questions about the assassination itself that aren't adding up?
Sure, - Yes, Yes and Yes

But losing our collective minds and drooling while advocating violence and calling for civil war isn't probably going to solve anything and will likely make it worse.

I'd add that much of this is IMHO manufactured theater, that we are being manipulated by professionals and that while not a popular position, I'm not taking the Rage Bait just yet.

While it may sound crazy, we have even bigger problems IMHO. The fake liberal/Leftists cause is evaporating and quickly becoming a non-issue in National politics. They no longer have the numbers or the voice to govern. Politically they're dead already and just don't know it. There will always be liberal idiots. God puts them here for us to laugh at.

Within our own ranks at the highest levels however, we have some real problems that have even broader and longer lasting implications and I believe much of the manufactured hype around the Kirk shooting is intentional and one more piece of an ongoing campaign meant to distract us from the real boogeyman..

P.S. - no this isn’t suicidal empathy. The Left needs to be crushed politically and never be allowed to duplicate their reign of the Obama/Clinton years. Just don’t think raging in the streets guns drawn is the answer

Nailed it. What remains of the liberal left is almost completely gone. The few remaining are radical socialists and outright communists, adhering to the Saul Alinsky tactics, always to elicit an emotional response from ordinarily thoughtful conservatives.

This is the way.
Not chasing down every leftist soccer mom or left wing college kid (college kids have been left wing by the way for 100 years, it’s not new).

Taking down a real definable domestic terrorist, foreign funded organization that also leads in the violent Marxist thought agenda. It would send a big message. (Minus the dumb martial law on Portland thing)

This AND following through with arrests of the people responsible for the 2020 election overthrow.

Those two things are justifiable and critically needed. Without addressing them we are just continuing the kabuki theater.

I think conservatives calling out the leftist with their own hypocrisy should continue. The problem with the Republican party was they they always "played nice". In other words they acted all dignified and responded with "oh dear" when they were getting kicked in the balls. The libs just ran roughshod over the conservatives like a bully taken lunch money from a skinny girl. On the one hand you have people saying conservatives like people named Stephen Miller should tone it down but at the same time jumping on the Steve Bannon wagon agreeing it's time to round 'em up. Maybe the plea is to just shut up then kick ass and take names? From what I've seen most of the social media platforms like X, FB, Twitter, et all are mind wasting sewers and people would be better to spend less time filtering through the nonsense. It's mostly brain rot entertainment. Society as a whole is for the worse because of those kick hit zinger posts that are meant to be "liked" and reposted with so much ease. I'm pretty much way past tired of reading about "social media influencers". Can we get these people a real job that contributes to society rather than brain rots the zombie followers?

Its one thing to call for kicking ass and taking names from behind a keyboard and another to actually do it.

I disagree on social media. Yes there's going to be a lot of garbage when you allow everyone to have a voice. But its far better than having Faux News or CNN be your sole source and being told what to think. Just because someone has an opinion on social media doesnt mean they're less smart or wise than you. Thats cocoon thinking. People who are so wrapped up in their beliefs and need constant reaffirmation that they're right and have it all figured out. MSM laughs at you and collects a check for it. Open dialog can threaten some core beliefs.
Thats actually part of what Charlie's message was.

Same as here.

I think the difference between Miller and Bannon's approach is Miller is simply playing to the audience throwing red meat and Bannon actually describes a plan.
