The game is a bit more nuanced ..
having done some journalism work in the past, often the editorial slant is to get others to say or speak what you want within your platform
It is a defensible approach as you point out "Tucker didn’t say it, his guest did." .. so did Tucker push back on this ? or did he agree with the guest ?
I see this sort of strategy all the time in the NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times .. for example especially when they were going full out on their attacks on "assault weapons"
Later they took official positions on it, but it started out just letting others say what they wanted.
Tucker knows how to play the game and make bundles of cash off it.
